Enhance your existing martial arts style and become a more versatile and effective fighter. Join our seminars or invite us to be a part of your instructor team at martial arts events.

Filipino martial arts are known for their practicality and effectiveness in real-world self-defense situations, particularly in close-quarters combat where weapons such as knives are often used. This makes them a valuable addition to any martial artist’s training, especially those who are interested in improving their skills in this area.

Kali Self Defence offers a unique and varied approach to training with weapons. Like many styles of Arnis, Eskrima, and Kali focus on using everyday objects as weapons, such as sticks or umbrellas, which can be useful in some situations. While the chances of getting into a knife fight may be small, studying knife defence can be an important part of a martial artist’s training, providing valuable skills and knowledge that can be applied in a variety of self-defence situations.

And if you’re interested in hosting a seminar at your own dojo or gym, we can make that happen! Our experienced instructors will travel to your location and provide top-notch training to you and your students.

Sommerleir/ Summercamp

This summer camp is designed to offer a comprehensive training experience for martial artists of all levels. You will have the opportunity to train in grappling range (BJJ), striking and kicking range, and weapons range (based on Kali Self Defence.) Our experienced instructors will guide you through the various ranges and help you refine your techniques.

The camp is held in the beautiful coastal city of Kristiansand, which provides the perfect backdrop for our training. With its stunning scenery and temperate weather, Kristiansand is the ideal location for a summer camp.

Apart from the training, we have also planned various social activities to make your experience even more memorable. You will get to meet and connect with other martial artists from all over the world and share your knowledge and experiences..
Check out the Facebook page for the event.

“To me, martial arts is about the individual journey. It’s about self-discovery. You have to figure out what works best for you. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach. You have to try different things and see what works.”
– Richard S. Bustillo January 28, 1942 – March 30, 2017

Richard S. Bustillo, a martial arts legend and founder of the IMB Academy, emphasized the importance of cross-training in different martial arts styles. He believed that by exposing oneself to different techniques, philosophies, and training methods, a martial artist can become more well-rounded and adaptable in their skills. He often said, “The martial arts world is too big to confine yourself to just one style. The more you know, the more tools you have in your toolbox.” Bustillo encouraged his students to explore different styles and learn from different instructors, ultimately leading to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the martial arts as a whole.
